Blog Post 21: Supporting Characters

For my project, I have gathered a number of my real life friends to reprise themselves as friends of my main character within my project. These friend's will serve as the only supporting characters within my project. The friends will be portrayed as part of a singular friend group and will have various speaking roles, all in different locations. All of which will also be wearing clothing traditional to that of the late 2000's as to maintain authenticity. The supporting cast will compost of 7 or so people, I want all of which to be as true to their own selves as possible, as to maintain the natural feel of my vlog, this will also help in the variety department, as they all have very different personalities, and due to this they will also communicate to the main character in different ways, with some supporting characters being more extraverted and talkative than others.

In respect to motivation, their motivations will be similar to that of the main character, however motivation may vary slightly from character to character. One may want to help with filming for a time capsule project as the main character wishes, and one other friend may just want to have fun filming, with no regard to any "time capsule." The appearances of the supporting characters will also differ. To maintain variety and realism, the clothing styles between them will vary friend to friend, for example, one of the supporting characters may sport gritty MMA clothing, while another sports a less expressive striped polo. Props will not be anything too crazy, perhaps a Kandi bracelet or piece of jewelry will be the most featured.
